Earnsdale Reservoir, Blackburn with Darwen, Lancashire

Drone Footage

This is Earnsdale Reservoir in Blackburn with Darwen on a sunny day in July 2022. The footage focuses on the reservoir and the surrounding countryside but does head toward Darwen Tower. Prior to 1 April, 1998 Blackburn with Darwen would have just been Darwen, however, on this date, it became a unitary authority and now consists of the industrial town of Blackburn and the market town of Darwen including other villages around the two towns. Earnsdale Reservoir was constructed in 1863.
