Looking for Collaborations, Referrals and Creative Connections

What’s the story?

After 20 years in music and audio production, I’m adapting to some major shifts in the industry, particularly with growing competition and the impact of AI.

My focus is now on high-end music libraries that work directly with TV, film and advertising clients. I’ve also set up new services in related areas.

I’m looking to connect with others who could be a good fit for future projects. If that sounds like you or someone you know, please get in touch or share this page. Ideas and introductions are always appreciated.

If you can help in any of these six areas, I’d love to hear from you.

If none of these quite fit but you have a related idea, I’d still love to hear from you. Feel free to get in touch.

Library Music

I’m ready to move into higher-end libraries. I’ve been investing time into my craft and money into expanding my sample pool. My current output meets the standards these libraries expect, including 24bit, 48kHz files with stem tracks.

What I need now are referrals to library owners or people working in media and film. If you know anyone in the sync or library music world who might be open to a chat about creating new library tracks or albums, or even using some of my existing work, I’d love to connect.

Here are some demos from the last few years:

Custom Soundtracks for Video, Adverts & Film

With my new orchestral templates, I’m focusing on expanding into film scoring. Having worked on smaller projects before, I’m now looking to connect with film and media creatives. While I’m gaining experience in this area, I have a natural ability to fit music to scenes, as you can hear in the demos below. I bring a professional approach and welcome any film, video or game project that needs a bespoke soundtrack tailored to its vision.

Here are two examples:

Sheet Music Arranger

A lot of my work is melodic, and there’s an untapped market for sheet music. Publishing sheet music is easier than ever with services like ArrangeMe, which also offer options to arrange copyrighted music.

I’m looking to work with people who can create scores for brass ensembles, full brass bands, wind ensembles, and more. I believe many of my pieces would adapt well to sheet music.

I’m open to collaborating with people at various levels of experience. I can provide MIDI and Stem files along with guidance or tuition on how to use them, especially for arrangers more familiar with traditional methods.

I want to combine my composition skills with collaborators who are positive thinkers and enjoy the process of arranging and notation. Together, we can create polished scores for different ensembles. The plan is to share royalties on a piece-by-piece basis, recognising that some arrangers excel in specific types of ensembles or styles and may prefer to focus on those. For example, someone experienced in brass band scoring might not want to work on orchestral arrangements, and that’s perfectly fine. Let’s talk!

A Marketing Partner to Promote Scenic Exploration

Scenic Exploration is a creative project blending original drone footage with calming, original music to produce high-quality long-play videos. These videos are designed to support relaxation, mindfulness and wellbeing, making them perfect for personal use or enhancing customer environments.

I compose and record the music and footage, while Adam handles video editing. We’re now looking for a third partner to join us in growing the business and sharing profits equally.

This is not an employment role, but an opportunity for someone entrepreneurial who wants to take ownership in a promising and expanding venture.

With over 80 hours of content already created, this remains a ground-floor opportunity as the business has yet to be actively promoted. We also have a large library of additional original music and drone footage ready to be incorporated, offering plenty of room for new creative ideas and growth. Our website and YouTube channel are set up and ready to expand.

Instrument/Vocal Collaboration

I’m starting to gather a network of talented singers and musicians who might be interested in playing an instrument, singing, or collaborating on compositions and projects in the future. With AI becoming more common, the human touch is more important than ever to keep music authentic.

Does this sound like something you’d be interested in? It doesn’t matter whether you play an unusual instrument like a glass harmonica or a more familiar one like a violin or trombone. Your unique talent and the human touch you bring are exactly what’s needed to keep music authentic and fresh in a world increasingly filled with AI-generated sounds. There may be a call for your skills at any time in film, TV or other projects.

If you are interested, please complete this form so I can reach out when the right opportunity arises.

Mobile Recording Services

Although composing is my main focus, I know that spending every day sat in a chair staring at a screen isn’t ideal. Sitting for long periods is often called the new smoking, and I can believe it. I realised I needed a bit more variety and movement in my week.

A couple of years ago, I set up a mobile recording service to help with that. It gives me a change of scene and draws on my background in live sound and recording. I bring the gear to you and work with bands, ensembles and groups on location.

This fits around my composing work, but I’m available for recording and production sessions. I bring a reliable setup that gets the job done without making the room look like a spaceship. I have plenty of experience and a practical, down-to-earth approach.

If you’re working on something and think I could help, feel free to get in touch. Always happy to have a chat and see if we are a good fit for each other.
