Let’s Collaborate!
Building a Network of Talent
I’m looking to connect with talented musicians, singers and arrangers to potentially collaborate on future projects. This is a fairly new idea, so there might not be something straight away, or even at all, but by letting me know you’re available and interested, it increases the chances significantly.
This might involve recording parts, co-writing, arranging, notation, or simply bringing your own musical character to something already underway. It could be a bartering arrangement, a royalty split, or paid session work. It’s early days, so we’ll see where it goes.
It doesn’t matter whether you play something unusual like a glass harmonica or something more familiar like a trombone. If you care about how things sound and enjoy making real, expressive music, I’d like to hear from you.
With AI becoming more common, I think the human element is more important than ever. The expression, feel and nuance that real musicians bring makes all the difference.
If I get a good number of contacts, I’m also thinking of creating a public directory of talent that other composers can collaborate with. That part is optional and something I’ll look at a bit later.
You don’t need to be a professional. Just talented.
Musicians
I’m interested in all instruments, acoustic or electronic, common or obscure. Whether you record at home or are set up for remote sessions, there may be times I need live parts added to a composition. If you’re reliable, easy to work with and focused on the sound, you’ll be a great fit.
Arrangers
If you have a good ear and enjoy shaping ideas into clear, playable parts for real instruments, I’d love to know about you. I’m particularly interested in people who understand how to make arrangements work in both acoustic and hybrid setups.
Singers
I often need vocals for various types of work — from full lead performances to backing layers, textures or vocal ideas that add something unexpected. If you’re confident recording yourself and open to different styles, get in touch.
